Is Opera Gx Better Than Chrome

Nov 18, 2020 I opened the same tabs on both Opera GX and Chrome, and without any tweaking, Opera GX took up about half as much space in memory. You can also go in and set exact percentage limits for CPU, RAM.

To use this extension:
1. Go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions and pick an extension.
2. Click ‘Add to Opera’ button.
3. Click ‘Install’ button in the Extensions Manager.

My Opera does not turn on, and more precisely, when turning on, there is a sound and the Opera Gx logo, then a white window pops up for about 1 second, then it turns off. I have already tried to install it and uninstall it with various programs to no avail, recently I even replaced the disk in my laptop and even though it is still the same problem. Nov 18, 2020 Opera GX scored 523 out of 555 on HTML5test compatibility testing. That stacks up well against rivals like Firefox (205, 491), Google Chrome (182, 528), and Microsoft Edge (179, 535). So I just found GX and am moving over from chrome. I only need to have 2 things that I need to have changed. I use the extension 'dark reader' to change web pages to dark mode. I have got the google to opera extension converter and it works great, except for the google search results page. (It works fine in Chrome but not GX).
