Apple CEO Steve Jobs also revealed iWork ’05 during his Macworld Conference & Expo San Francisco keynote. Designated as the successor to AppleWorks, iWork features Keynote 2 and the new word processing application Pages and integrates, via a media browser, with the iLife suite of digital video, audio and photography software. Apple expects to ship the new bundle on Jan. 22 for US$79.
New features in Keynote 2 include the ability to export presentations in Macromedia Flash format, animated text effects, new transitions and themes and more. In addition, you can now use the software to create interactive and self-playing presentations.
Iwork 05 Serial Number
Pages includes 40 templates for creating everything from brochures to resumes to newsletters, with support for dynamic text wrapping and alignment guides. The word processor features multi-column layouts and other free-form arrangements of text, images and tables, as well as the ability to set styles, build tables of contents and footnotes and more. Both Pages and Keynote 2 can import AppleWorks files as well as import and export Microsoft Word and PowerPoint files. Support for such file formats as PDF, Adobe Photoshop, TIFF, JPG, QuickTime and others is also included.
